Ten teams from across the world will compete to make huge, intricate sculptures by chiselling away at blocks of ice

Teams from France, Poland, the USA, Belgium, Africa, Spain, Hungary, Ireland, Sweden and the UK are competing this year - challenged to create a sculpture on the theme "River of Life".
There'll also be masterclasses which allow the public to pick up a chisel and have a go at sculpting a polar bear.
Entry to the festival is free of charge and it runs until Sunday, January 12th.
