Passengers watch in fear as train approaches bus blocking level crossing

A bus driver appeared to be fearless of unaware of a train that was heading towards their bus that had stopped on a level crossing.
Passengers stuck in traffic on the 11 City Red bus in Southampton looked on in fear as a train edged closer and red danger lights flashed.
Despite the freight train driver repeatedly sounding his horn, the bus driver did not make a move until right at the last moment.
Slamming on the brakes, the train driver pulled the 36-carriage vehicle to a halt barely a few yards from where the bus had been seconds earlier.
