New Body Modification Trend Hits Portland: See The Photos!

Just when you thought you’ve seen it all, someone went and decided we should see a little more of their teeth.  What am I talking about?  According to social media, a new trend called lip plates has hit Portland… And I hope it stays there.

Lip plates, also called lip plugs or lip discs, go just below the lower lip and with a clear plate, show more of the modified individual’s teeth and gums than you probably ever cared to see – unless you’re a dentist.  I mean, let’s face it, apparently smiling to show off those pearly whites is just too much work.
