Bingo hall brawl: Fist fight breaks out - two women injured and six people banned from playing for life

Chairs were thrown through the air when a mass fight broke out between women at a bingo hall.

Police and an ambulance were called after the violent brawl erupted when two groups of players argued.

Two women were treated for facial injuries but no one was arrested.

Six punters were banned for life from every Gala Bingo hall.

One woman who saw the bust-up in Torquay, Devon, said: “It’s not the sort of thing you expect to see at the bingo. It was vicious.

“There had been a disagreement in the foyer before we started playing. The game was interrupted by these two groups talking and arguing.

“The next thing I saw was one girl practically flying off her chair. I don’t know if it was because somebody had punched her or she was going for somebody else.

“There was another woman who looked like she was having a panic attack. It was a big scuffle
